Objective To evaluate the probiotic properties of three strains of vaginal Lactobacillusspp.isolated from the healthy women in order to provide the probioficcandidates for prevent or treating the genitourinary tract infections. Methods Theacid production activities of Lactobacillus strains wereassayed by monitoring the pH value of bacterial suspensions during incubation. The production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was determined using the TMB-MRS plates. The biofilm formation ability was measured by a semi-quantitative assay based on microtiter plates.
