The tripartite cooperation between China,South Korea,and Japan is particularly important in clinical legal education of East Asia.All of the three countries adopted the new pedagogy of clinical legal education in the beginning of the 21st century.China took the lead in implementing the method with the aid of the Ford Foundation in the undergraduate and graduate levels of legal education in 2000.Japan in 2004 and South Korea in 2009 established the new law school system with much emphasis on bridging doctrine and practice by clinical legal education.
