Recently,the receiver coil layout of the wireless power transfer (WPT) systems was optimized with no load in the fixed grid (FG)-based representation[1].However,due to the existence of zig-zag patterns and gray zones,the coil mass optimized in the FG had a nonnegligible deviation from actual mass.In order to solve this drawback,the post-processing using the smooth boundary (SB) representation was implemented through converting the optimized coil layout in the FG to the smoothed coil layout[2].
