Nowadays, stimuli-responsive biomaterials are extensively used every day in dental applications, surgery and drug delivery. The development of the area of self-assembly has led to deeper understanding of the functions of building blocks. It comes to a golden period to develop new types of self-assembly biomaterials to meet the development of material science and life science.Selenium is an essential microelement for human beings and selenium-containing polymers have recently received wide attention as mild-responsive drug delivery vehicles and artificial enzymes [1, 2].
