A simple method for simultaneous determination of 14 perfluorinated compounds(PFCs)in the vegetable samples was developed and validated. The method adopted ultrasonic-assisted extraction followed by modified disposable pipette extraction(DPX)coupled with ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometery using a fused-core analytical column for determination of 14 PFCs.The quantification was performed by using matrix-match calibration curve with internal standards. The two ultrasonic-assisted extractions were executed. The high extraction efficiency was obtained when the amount of 100 mg graphitized carbon was added to clean-up.The linearity of the calibration curve was greater than 0.99 for all analytes in five days. The limit of detection(LOD)and limit of quantification(LOQ)ranged from 0.006 ng/g to 0.14 ng/g and from 0.059 ng/g to 0.47 ng/g,respectively.The extraction recoveries were in the range of 83.83%to 112.00%and the extraction recoveries didnt depend on spiked levels. The matrix effects cloud be negligible for all analytes. The within-run precision and between-run precision were <20%for each analyte. The within-run accuracy and between-run accuracy were between-10.52%and+13.00%.The method was applied for determination of PFCs in vegetables. The five analytes were detected in some vegetables, but at low levels. The average values of relative recovery were obtained from 80%to 120%in vegetables.Good results on linearity,LOQ,extraction recovery,matrix-effects,precision and accuracy were achieved, indicating that the method can be used for simultaneous determination of 14 PFCs in vegetables.
