For about one month from May 18 through June 12 during the 2015 KORUS-AQpre-campaign period, nitrogen compounds(NO,NO2,NOy),O3,CO and SO2 were measured at theKIST(Korea Institute of Science and Technology).NOx and NOy were measured with themolybdenum-converter developed by the KRISS(Korea Research Institute of Standard andScience)and teledyne instrument respectively.Other gaseous species such as O3,CO and SO2were measured by the KRISS.The concentration of NO2 increased during the rush hours of 06:00~09:00 in the morning and17:00~19:00 in the late afternoon.During the measuring period, the average concentration of NO,NO2 and NOy were 3.50±8.21,22.38±14.17 and 30.45±19.01 ppbv, respectively. The maximumconcentration of NO,NO2 and NOy were 72.00,84.40,and 123.79 ppbv, respectively.Thehighest concentrations of NOx,NOy were appealed at 07:00 AM.The concentration of NOx,NOy and NO/NOx ratio were lower in June than May.However, overall concentration of NO2/NOx ratio and O3 increased. These results are assumed from twophenomena: firstly,NO was converted into NO2,and secondly,NO2 of NOx contributed to thedevelopment of O3 with the response of photolysis.
