PURPOSE To investigate the corneal biomechanical changes after small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) surgery and compare those changes with laser-assisted subepithelial keratectomy (LASEK) surgery.METHODS 21 patients (40eyes) in SMILE group and 19 patients (35eyes) in LASEK group with low to moderate myopia and with or without astigmatism were enrolled in our study.Corneal hysteresis (CH), corneal resistance factor (CRF), Goldmann intraocular pressure (IOPg) and corneal compensated intraocular pressure (IOPcc) with an Ocular Response Analyzer were achieved preoperatively and 1 month and 3 months postoperativelv.
