Dibenzothiophene-S,S-dioxide (FSO) is an electron-deficient moiety with planar structure, high electron affinity and high fluorescent efficiency.[1] Taking advantages of FSO moiety, a series of light-emitting copolymers containing FSO moiety were synthesized by Suzuki polycondensation. The copolymers containing FSO exhibit high thermal stability. And with increasing the FSO content, the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) level of the copolymers gradually deepened, which was helpful of the electron injection in electroluminescent devices.
