INTRODUCTION Electrospun nanofibers can provide a large number of cell contact sites and be used for cell capture applications(Zhang et al.).Folate receptor(FR) is a single-chain glycoprotein with high specific affinity for folic acid(FA)(Wang et al.;Zhao et al.).In this study,PEGylated FA was conjugated to the surface of the PVA/PEI electrospun nanofibers for the specific capture of cancer cells.
