Introducnion: δ layered sodium disilicate (δ-Na2Si2O5) is the material with a layered two-dimensional (2-D) oriented condensed crystal structure[1], which belongs to the group of single layer silicates.It is efficient non-phosphate detergent builder[2,3]with excellent detergency effect in its traditional use.Usually we focus on its property of ions exchange, δ-Na2Si2O5 as a kind of layered compounds that generally possess pillared property[4,5] through intercalation with long-chain alkylammonium ions, can be also intercalated to obtain new materials.
