Angiosarcomas are highly malignant neoplasms derived from vascular endothelial cells and are among the rarest of human neoplasms.Angiosarcomas originating in the central nervous system (CNS) are extremely rare.Metastatic angiosarcomas of the brain are also rare.The most common origin for a metastatic intracranial angiosarcoma is the heart.Angiosarcomas originating in the heart are more common than those of CNS origin, and most frequently occur in the right atrium (71.4%).
