In this paper,an implemented Web-based product oriented integrated computer aided process planning (CAPP) system is introduced.The system architecture,system components and functions including BOM management,technological file querying and retrieving,interactive and knowledge-based process planning,knowledge management,numerical control(NC) program management,and process document management are illustrated.The prevalent Web,XML and component technologies are adopted to establish a product oriented integrated CAPP system.The functions of the CAPP system can meet the requirements of enterprise produetion.This CAPP system has been running in Shenyang machine tools.
