　　High-temperature superconductor tape quenches rapidly from zero-resistance state to normal state once the current exceeds the critical current Ic and after quench the superconductor tape as normal conductor still endures the overcurrent within some time.The resistive-type superconducting fault current limiter (RSFCL) is made based on this principle and its current limiting process is quite crucial for regular and safe operation of the device.
