BACKGROUND: Frailty, an early stage of disability, has proved to be a predictive factor of variety of poor outcomes in old populations.Studies have shown that higher Hemoglobin Alc (HbAlc) level was accompanied with high prevalence of frailty among old community-dwelling people.But the relationship between HbA1 c level and prevalence of frailty still remains unknown.
