江西贵溪阳际峰国家级自然保护区主要高等植物有1878种,隶属于240科830属.其中苔藓植物57科133属297种;蕨类植物27科59属123种;裸子植物5科10属13种;被子植物151科628属1445种.在被子植物中,热带性质属有279属,占总属数的43.66％;温带性质属有288属,占总属数的44.44％;表明阳际峰保护区是较为典型的中亚热带植物区系.此外,阳际峰保护区有珍稀保护植物合计97种,其中:国家珍稀濒危保护植物14种(国家二级6种、国家三级8种);国家重点保护植物15种(国家一级2种、国家二级13种);江西省重点保护植物82种.总体来说,阳际峰具有较高的植物多样性,具比较高的保护价值.
