The reduction of structure weight is an important goal in the spacecraft design.Furthermore,the uncertain factors which come from the load environment,material property and manufacturing tolerance may impact on the safety performance of structures.The conflict between the requirements of economy and security can be well balanced by using reliability-based design optimization (RBDO).RBDO is in nuture a double-layer cyclic iteration problem,which demands calculating the structure function values through a large number of finite element analyses.So the surrogate model technology is widely used in RBDO.However,the precision of surrogate model has a great influence on the optimization result.
