In recent years,many universities around the world have increasingly adopted the use of English as an academic lingua franca to teach content courses.Since 2001,there has been an expansion of English-medium instruction (EMI) in a growing number of leading Chinese universities.However,there is not much information on what kind of English is appropriate to the use of English in EMI.
