INTRODUCTION Two dimensional graphene materials with only an atom thickness have paved novel ways for the development of new functional materials.There has been a great interest in developing graphene-polymer composites to completely exploit superior properties of graphene.In this study,green graphene materials prepared by photo-reduction of graphite oxide were first time blended with silk fibroin to improve the thermal and mechanical properties of silk biomaterials.
