INTRODUCTION Recent approaches in tissue engineering using electrospun scaffolds showed the superiority of electrospinning in preparation of scaffolds.Yet some limitations appeared due to the tightly layer-by-layer process of electrospinning. For example, electrospun nanofiber scaffolds allow little cellular infiltration into their inside. This study fabricated a porous nanyarn scaffold, which allows cell infiltration and growth in the scaffold three dimensionally;this nanoyarn scaffold has been successfully used for tendon tissue engineering.
