The vibration of plates is important in many applications pertaining to mechanical,civil and aerospace engineering.On the other hand,natural frequencies are important dynamic characteristics of a structure.Therefore,the solution pertaining to free vibration of the simply supported annular plates using indirect Trefftz method is presented in this paper.Thus,an accurate and direct modeling technique is introduced for simply supported annular plates.The effects of the thicknesses of the plate and the ratio inner radius to outer radius of the annular plate are assessed.Finally,some numerical examples are shown in order to present the efficiency and simplicity of the current approach.
