大别-苏鲁造山带是华北与扬子板块三叠纪俯冲碰撞作用的产物,以超高压榴辉岩的产出为特征。位于苏鲁造山带南部的毛北榴辉岩体宽约300~500 m,长约3 km,深度超过700 m,是出露面积最大的榴辉岩体,而且是一个大型的金红石矿床。毛北岩体主要由不同类型的榴辉岩组成,含少量石榴橄榄岩和片麻岩,这些岩石呈互层状产出。毛北岩体中的榴辉岩可分成六种类
The Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt is the product of the Triassic subduction collision between the North China and the Yangtze Plate, characterized by the output of the ultrahigh-pressure eclogite. The Maobei eclogite, located in the southern part of the Sulu orogenic belt, has a width of 300-500 m, a length of about 3 km and a depth of over 700 m. It is the largest exposed eclogite body and is a large-scale rutile deposit. The Maobei pluton is mainly composed of different types of eclogite, with a small amount of pomegranate peridotite and gneiss, which are produced as interbedded layers.
