The porphyry copper ores with associated low grade molybdenite in Dexing copper mine is very abundant.Molybdenite concentrates are commonly obtained as a byproduct in the treatment of porphyry copper ores,which are characteristic of high contents of copper and rhenium.The roasting-ammonia leaching process of molybdenite concentrate is the main process for Mo extraction at present.During roasting,the SO2 generated is a source of environmental pollution,much rhenium is lost due to volatilization and copper as an impurity can,t be utilized effectively [1-3].
