  Developing forest bioenergy resources is an important approach to solve the shortage of fossil fuels and global environmental problems.Forest bioenergy resource has a series of virtues such as abundant reserves,renewable,low-carbon and environmental benign.The feasibility and handicaps of developing forest bioenergy resources were discussed were discussed based on the overall analysis of the current situation of forest bioenergy resources in China.The analysis showed that the development of forest bioenergy resources has great resources advantage and potential.The proposed ideas for developing forest bioenergy resources mainly include: increasing the supporting policies of construction mechanism and funding investment and developing long-term development plan; strengthening technology research and the management of energy tree cultivating; and making a suitable goal for developing and utilizing of forest bioenergy resources.In addition,the encouraging policy for industrials involving in the development of forest bioenergy resources is also very important.
