Cadmium is a non-essential element for tobacco growth,but is easily absorbed.Cadmium ions not only remain in the tobacco plant,but also have obviously detrimental effects on its growth.Tobacco leaves were induced to produce callus by the tissue culture experiment introduced in this paper.
