  During the processing of the plant protection,the distribution of droplets or spray fields could impact the spraying effect and efficiency directly.At present,the domestic and foreign methods of detecting droplets distribution and deposition rules are mainly about arranging water sensitive papers,magnesium oxide slides,flour or glass dishes to collect,and then using measurement analysis and inverting calculation to achieve.This paper is aimed at establishing the droplets detection method that uses the reflective wave of laser radars.The algorithms of target recognition and extraction,distribution range calculation and three-dimensional(3D)distribution model establishment were mainly studied,in which the droplets were as the primary object.The reflection information belonging to the detection range was extracted by the laser radar.And then,the methods of fuzzy environment matching and secondary filter were used to eliminate the environment noise.The position information of object droplets was recognized and extracted and the coordinate was transformed.Moreover,according to the method of time-domain superposition,the sample time that could describe the droplets distribution was analysed and determined.In addition,the dynamic proportion was used to eliminate the drift droplets and the effective distribution range was determined.At the same time,the vertical and horizontal distribution sizes for one section were calculated in the spray field.Furthermore,the 3D distribution model could be constructed by fitting with distribution outlines of different sections.The artificial atomizer test and wind tunnel test were implemented by using the constructed system.The results showed that this method had higher stability and reliability.The fractional error of spray field detection was less than or equal to 7%and the relative standard deviation(RSD)was less than or equal to 15%.Moreover,the RSD of wind tunnel test was less than or equal to 15%and the 3D distribution models in the wind tunnel were described accurately,which could adapt for the requirements of indoor and outdoor detection.The integrated detection system was able to achieve the quantification detection of droplets distribution.In addition,the effective test method could be provided for spraying technique,especially for the research of plant protection application using the UAV.
