  Fluorescent tracer is frequently used as the tracer for spray test,but the stability under illuminat ion and the rate of elution and recovery from the deposition carrier are significantly important to the accuracy of test result.Spectral analysis shows the lengths of absorbing wave of RhB and BSF are respectively 573.8nm and 494.6nm at most,under uninterrupted sunlight,the recovery rates are respectively 93.5%~98.2%and 95.5%~99.4%in favorable light stability,both a great part of coloring agents can be eluted and recovered from the glass slide and polyester card but not so much from the filter paper.Farm test shows the two coloring agents can be effectively used as the tracer to test the droplets deposition of pesticide sprayed by UAV on the paddy rice farm in a low volume.The above test results shows RhB can be feasibly used as the tracer to test the droplets deposition of pesticide aerially sprayed in a low volume.
