In many reports, triterpenoids have been studied and described as anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory agents.2α-Hydroxy-3β-acetoxy-lup-20(29)-en-28-oic acid (LUP), a lupane-type triterpenoid, was isolated from Garcinia hanburyi.In this study, we evaluated its anti-inflammatory effects in LPS-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophage cell line.
