　　Ionic liquids as one of important green solvents have been widely used in fields such as chemistry, chemical engineering, hydrometallurgy and new materials preparation et al.[1] In this paper, we present new developments in our lab to use ionic liquids for green separation of rare earths (RE) and correlative metals.The details are as follows: (1) The application of ionic liquids in liquid/liquid separation.
