Inspection of bridges is a very important step for maintaining the bridge stock of a country in a good condition.Different bridge types (reinforced concrete,steel,post-tensioned concrete...etc.) include different element types (both structural and non-structural),and preparing inspection lists is a very common approach for better inspection; having pre-generated lists in the field during an inspection ensures all members are evaluated; they provide guidelines where to look,and they improve the communication between different inspectors by creating a standardized procedure to follow.
