Transition metal dichalcogenides(TMD)are a family of layered nanomaterials,which attract increasing interest due to their novel nanoelectronic and optoelectronic properties,including MoS2 and TiS2.Moreover,TMD are considered as facile supporting substrates to form hierarchical composites because of their large specific surface area and easy functionalization.Therefore,TMD and TMD-based nanocomposites have charming applications in many fields,such as biosensors,bioimaging,cancer therapy,capacitors,lithium batteries and catalysts.Inspired from these excited studies,our group have focused on controllable synthesis of MoS2 and MoS2-based nanocomposites and their interesting application.For example,we had developed a rapid and versatile ultrasonication enhanced lithium intercalation method to prepare single-layer transition metal dichalcogenide nanosheets(such as MoS2,TiS2 nanosheet)by using n-butyllithium(Fig.1A)1.
