Projecting a high-dimensional stochastic dynamics on the reaction coordinate space has attracted considerable attentions in the literature.In this talk,I will first discuss some general properties of an ergodic diffusion process whose invariant measure is unique.Then I will discuss the model reduction problem of an ergodic diffusion process along certain given reaction coordinate.
