The drill-strings are slender structures, with length reaching several kilometers.They transfer rotary motion to the drill-bit in the process of drilling bore-hole for oil/gas ex-traction.Complex behaviour of the system can result from presence at the same time of different dynamical phenomena, including torsional, lateral and axial vibrations, stick-slip, bit bounce and bit-whirl.Interactions between these phenomena introduces additional complexity to the system dynamics.The occurrence of these phenomena, especially stick-slip vibrations, lead to the reduction of depth of penetration and may cause failures and wear to the drilling equipment, thus increasing considerably drilling time and its costs.
