The elastic vibration response of two-layer semiconducting microcantilevers, which were excited with a frequency-modulated pump laser and detected use another probe beam, was studied experimentally using a photothermal method.The photothermal vibration frequency spectra were measurement and analyzed for different thickness of coating near the resonant frequency.The results showed that the experimental results had a good agreement with the theoretical ones.
