The limited dynamics and poor cycling stabilities of the current reported anode materials have become the bottleneck for the practical applications and development of sodium-ion batteries (NIBs).It is very urgent to explore new anode materials for NIBs.Herein,we reported a new anode material for NIBs,molybdenum nitride (Mo2N).The synthesized Mo2N with porous nanobelt shape showed a "single-cryatal-like" form of face-centered cubic, and highly porous structure. Moreover, the Mo2N nanobelts exhibits a excellent capacity retention ratio of more than 85 %after 200 cycles and fine rate performance. We believe that such highly porous Mo2N nanobelts will be a new promising electrode active material for NIBs.
