Background Catheter ablation is an effective treatment for patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF).Recovered pulmonary vein conduction is a dominant factor in AF recurrence after pulmonary vein isolation (PVI).Sinoatrial node artery (SNA) anatomy and dominant distributional characteristics may significantly influence the efficacy of AF ablation. This study was to determine the prognostic value of the origin of SNA in relation to AF recurrence in patients with paroxysmal AF undergoing PVI.
