  The dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs)introduced by Graetzel in 1991 have received great attention over the past decade because of their potential for high energy conversion efficiency and low production cost.For the improvement of durability of DSSC,the solid state electrolytes have been widely studied.It is well known that the conventional solidification methods have problems of lowering cell performance due to the low ionic conductivity and poor electrolyte/electrode interface contact.In this study we successfully prepared a quasi-solid electrolyte using artificial nano clay mineral such as Smectite,Hydrotalcite with significant high performance.
