The age of antibiotics,as dominant agents against harmful bacteria,has come to an end,because of the emergence of drug-resistant bacteria.[1] Photodynamic therapy (PDT) represents a potentially realistic alternative to antibiotics with applications both in the clinical and in the environmental areas.But,only cationic photosensitizers (PS) can efficiently kill Gram-negative bacteria.[2]
