Ethylene and ethane separation is of high industrial value,while the low relative volatility causes higher operation cost for the mixtures separation.Adsorptive separation has been judged to be the lowest consumption operation among the potential alternative separation methods [1].A number of adsorbent materials based on π-complexation had been reported [2].The ordered mesoporous carbon (CMK-3) with many advantages in the textural properties is a suitable substrate [3],which allows good dispersion of transition metals species.The aim of our study is to prepare π-complexation adsorbent Cu(1)/CMK-3,and investigate the effect of various conditions of preparation on the adsorption behavior of ethylene and ethane.
