New aerosol formation from dimethylsulphide (DMS) oxidation was evaluated during four Canadian SOLAS shipboard experiments in 2002 and 2003 using isotope apportionment techniques.Hourly DMS measurements were collected for comparison with diurnal SO 2,aerosol sulphate,and methanesulphonic acid (MSA) measurements.
