In this paper, nonlinear vibrations of axially moving viscoelastic beams on elastic foundation subjected to parametric and 3∶1 internal resonance are analytically and numerically investigated.The beam s material obeys the Kelvin model in which the material time derivative is used.A nonlinear partial-differential equation with simple supports at both ends governing the transverse motion is derived from the generalized Hamilton principle.
