  Polymer complexation is a type of polymer aggregation process.Two initially soluble polymers are bound together through cooperative interactions,such as electrostatic force and hydrogen bonding,along the polymer chains to form a polymer complex which generally precipitates out from the solution.The recently developed layer-by-layer assembly technique can realize the multi-time polymer complexation at interface with a controllable way to prepare functional thin films,coating and microcapsules.Meanwhile,the simple sing-time polymer interfacial complexation has been utilized to construct the special structures,such as vesicle and raspberry-like particles.With special processing,the hydrogen bonding complexation can also apply to produce fibers.This presentation will introduce both single-time and multi-time hydrogen bonding polymer complexation to prepare low-dimensional materials such as micellar particle,fibers,and thin film.
