  We introduce a new framework for the multiphysical modeling and multiscale computation of metal-enhanced fluorescence.The semi-classical theory treats the evolution of the electromagnetic field and the motion of the charged particles self-consistently by coupling Maxwell equations with Quantum Mechanics.
