After 30 years of reform and development, Chinas rural finance has changed from its original role of encouraging savings and providing convenient settlement to an important industry which dealing with the allocation of resources concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers, the adjustment to the rural economy, the sharing of agricultural risk and the building of fair environment.Chinas current rural financial institutions include the formal financial institutions and informal financial institutions.Financial tools of rural formal financial institutions are in relatively small size, with low profitability and capital shortage.
