  Due to the outstanding mechanical and physical properties of vapor grown carbon nanofibers (VGCFs), the multiscale composites consisting of micro-scale carbon fibers and nano-scale nanofibers, have drawn a great interest in the field of high performance materials.VGCFs can be incorporated into micro-scale fibers by many routes such as VGCF growth on substrate by chemical/physical deposition (C/PVD), plasma spray technique.
