CO2 adsorption on solid adsorbents is an important technique in the context of greenhouse gas capture as well as adsorption enhanced reaction processes.This work focuses on CO2 adsorption and desorption on sodium oxide promoted alumina pellets using both a thermogravitational analyzer (TGA) and an small-scale packed-bed reactor.The process kinetics and isotherm were investigated by mathematical modeling and regression of experimental data.In the TGA experiments, weight gain of an adsorbent particle was recorded with respect to time at controlled temperature and CO2 partial pressure conditions.
