Soil of cemeteries occur in practically all settlements,apart of very small ones,where there is no church.Process of burial influence the soils heavily because disturbing of sequence of horizons and mixing of soil material occur as deep as 2 meters and the large number of artifacts got into the soil.Out of 11 Toruncemeteries there was selected 3 ones,established in different periods.On every one there was two soil profiles described,analyzed and classified.One profile lies on burial ground,while the other one on the edge of the cemetery,where burial process didnt occur.Standard physical and chemical soil analyses was made.On the base of our research we have found that necrosols located among graves distinguish by presence of mixed organo-mineral horizon,presenc of higher amount of artifacts,large amount of organic matter in lower part of profile and higher amount of soil moisture in comparison to necrosols located outside of grave area.
