Surface chirality in molecular self-assembled systems has received extensive attention because of its fundamental significance and potential applications.Recent researches demonstrated that not only chiral molecules but also racemates or even achiral molecules are able to endow supramolecular chirality to achiral surfaces due to symmetry breaking during the adsorption and assembly.[1,2] However, the spontaneous resolution of racemates and achiral molecules into 2D enantiomorphous assemblies shows no chiral bias and typically leads to randomly co-exist of two enantiomorphous assemblies.As a result, the surface is locally chiral but optically inactive.Developing efficient routes to control the chirality of 2D molecular assembly and obtain globally homochiral surfaces represents an essential challenge in 2D chirality.
