At present, with the impact of multiple thoughts, the values of college students gradually undergo a significant change.To analyze the causes of values of information majors, the author summed up 18 subfactors, which based on reading and summarizing a large amount of relevant literature, including: Western culture, Internet culture, the socialist market economy, and students their own weaknesses, college education etc.To this end, we compile a questionnaire about the values of students which is suitable for the information management majors.After conducting a sample survey of students in shanghai, we carried out analysis such as correlation analysis and factor analysis by means of SPSS 17.0 software tools and studied the causes of values to summarize the key influencing factors and draw conclusions of empirical studies.Based on these factors, we suggest some effective recommendations to guide students to establish correct values and hope to provide a research results which can be referenced for teachers and parents in educating and training students in the formation of correct values.
