Three new pyrroloimidazoles were synthesized by 1, 3-dipolar cycloaddition of 4, 5-dihydroimidazolium ylides by using isopropyl bromoacetate as an alkylating agent with sulfur activated dipolorophile in the presence of DBU.One of these pyrroloimmidazole synthesized with methyl activated dipolorophile exhibited excellent antibacterial and antifungal activities while showed appreciable antioxidant activity.
