The concept of biomimetic approach to converting sunlight was applied for design of composite materials.Here,plasmonic heterostructure arrays for photoelectrochemical water photooxidation would be fabricated.The wurtzite-structured ZnO arrays prepared are the "trunk".And self-assembly Ag nanoclusters matched are the "leaf" on the top of arrays,which can strongly interact with ultraviolet and visible regions due to surface plasmon resonance.
